help me out guys new into the ep3 cant get running right

alright guys ive had tons of hondas and this is my first ep3 and i got it with the timing chain broke so i just went with complete rebuild everything new got the motor back in car will start but will not idle by itsself will run as long as u keep giving it gas but will not idle all ideas r very helpful thanks alot guys

all vacuum is connected? its only like 3 hoses.

who rebuilt it?
gapped plugs?
compression?
fuel pump working?
timing set proper?
good ecu?

pretty simple motor, only 1 fuel line and 4 plugs and 1 primary o2 sensor.

u guys wouldnt think map have anything to do with it would ya bc i can leave it unpluged and it will run as i keep giving it gas and i plug the map up and no matter how much gas i give it still bogs and dies out

that kinda sounds like the symptoms of a vacuum leak.

but i would still look into everything on akep's list.

it's really just a process of elimination.
