Hi. I tried searching but could not find a specific answer. Can anyone give me an idea of what kind of gains I can expect from a k24a1 head swap? K20A3 with I/RH/E + skunk2 stage 1 cams + kpro/tuning. TIA!

Minimal wheel horsepower. Perhaps, 5 whp +/- 2 whp at most. On a boosted application though it should net a few more.

I'd just go ahead and throw in a whole K24a1 and later on throw on a better flowing head.

Or just keep the K24a1 head since it flows well on it's own. Add a turbo kit and 350whp is an EASY goal with the stock K24a1 bottom and top end.

Thanks for the responses..much appreciated! What if I compliment the k24a1 head with skunk2 stage 2 cams and upgraded valvetrain, as well as increased copression via flat valves and thinner head gasket? Still no joy?
you can only flow so much on the stock ecu, a k24a1 with anything (bolt-ons, let alone cams) needs kpro because the stock ecu can only compensate so much untill it hits a limit. plus a tune always makes things even better.
