Alright, drove from Las Vegas to Pueblo, CO on thursday, and back today, and it was a great trip. 2400 miles later, the car did fine and my only gripe is that the fuel tank seems rather small, and the fuel gauge is pretty inaccurate (same way my previous Civic was). Aside from that, the seats were pretty good for 15 hours of sitting, and the overall ride was great. The cruise control holds very very well, and the car loses a great deal of power at higher altitude... just some things I noticed. :D

Glad to be home though... but the lil' old Si did a great job, I'm proud of 'er.

I took a few pics along the way, I'll have to get one of the car now, since it's filthy from road grime and snow! :D

I was born and raised in Pueblo, so all my family is still there, as well as my wife's family. I'll crop the pics and post 'em up. :)

at what RPM were you mostly driving at? I haven't made any long trips yet, but the I noticed on short trips doing around 120km/hr (approx 70mph) its about 3,000 rpm and I find the engine noise pretty loud. Was it noticeable for you?

We went 80, which is 4k RPM. I didn't notice too much noise, though I am used to a Jetta VR6 with an AEM intake, and that was pretty loud. :D

I'm much more bothered by tire noise than engine noise.
