I just put my new 22 mm sway bar from progress in using the stock endlinks for now. I thought everything was good until i loweres the car back on the ground. The bar is completely resting on the right lower control arm. Has anyone else had this problem? I have new adjustable endlinks on the way and im hoping they fix it right up.

Did you install it reversed by accident? ie left side of the bar is on the right?

HI dont think so. I ran the bar the same direction my stock one was which is with the loops on the end pointing upward toward the car

See that bar looks different from mine. Mine has no bump in the center like the picture does. And mine has more of a bump at the ends or angled bend at the ends of the bar. I think i must have it upsidedown, eventhough i tried to place it in the same orientation as the stock bar.

Different end links won't make any difference. It either fits or doesn't. Don't follow your old stock bar's curves.

Hey whats up guys. My progress sway bar is not resting on anything but it is very close. So when I am driving and hit a small bump it knocks on the exhaust. Is this normal or do you guys think I have it upside down as well?

Never mind. After a quick search I realized that this is a common problem, for it to knock against the exhaust. Does anyone know of a fix for this? ... thanks.

(PS: I have the stock exhaust.)

Wrap the area that's hitting with a small silicone hose (size just under the diameter of the bar) cut down the middle. Secure it with hose clamps.

I wrapped mine with heatwrap. Basically anything that will pad the area & is heat-resistant will help.

Good luck, guy.

Update............
I had time to fool with the car today, i flipped the bar around and used the adjustment on the bushing brackets to get the swaybar away from the exhaust. It worked perfect! The bar is nowhere near the lca now and i have a 3/16 to 1/4 inch gap between the bar and exhaust. So im happy. Car feels great.
