k24a2 idle issue all of a sudden?!

Hey guys, i have a 03 ep3 with a k24a2 in it. Ive NEVER had any issues with it before. I started the car and it kinda sputtered and backfired, i didn't turn the key long enuff to start it properly. And they i tryed starting it again, and it started up, but now the idle goes between 1000rpms and 2300rpms, up and down on idle?! The car drives fine, doesn't do anything else weird, but that idle...can someone help me out here?

Try an Idle Re-learn, I've heard of this happening before and had it happen once when I stalled my car out but started it again before it completely stalled.

i had the same issue on my 98 civic. check for a vacuum leak

i took the IAVC off and cleaned it, it was dirty and shit, and i put it back on and its STILL doing it....wtf? Any other suggestions, and still no CEL...

I bet you you have a vacuum leak. Did you make any changes at all before this happened, remove manifold, both pieces?
