lojack and police on speed dial... why the new security upgrades?

any one know anything about this express kit i wanted to get an alarm too, already have full coverage and lojack is pretty useless and expensive. alarm at least would make some noise if im near it and i can stop some things from happening

The best security is layers bro. I would add a perimeter sensor if its available for the alarm and maybe a tilt sensor too. The glass break is useless if someone knows how to get around it. Good luck.

On top of that I got a 2 way remote so when it warns someone who gets too close to the car it lets me know too. Also got auto start and remote windows but my installer is a close friend so it was cheap for the add ons. :-)

Didn't mean to say auto start. I meant remote start.

That pkall piece is for the remote start to work to bypass the immoblizer when remote starting the car. It also does make some parts of the alarm easier to install like the brake wire and some other ones. I also noticed your from the bay area i am as well i have installed a few remote start alarms into ep's and am a MECP certified installer if you need someone local for the install just pm me.

Full auto insurance sounds like a brilliant idea. And pay the extra for them to cover mods and save receipts. Ive had Viper alarms and such but if youre not in range the two way pager is pointless. As I've heard countless times when I first subscribed to this site, if someone wants yo stuff, they will get yo stuff. I just have a basic alarm now and the clutch lock.
