im looking to buy new wheels i want a 17x8 what offset should i go with. i want to run a 225/40/17 or maybe bigger and rolling the fenders.

Clarify something for me...

Have you installed DC5R LCAs yet?
I believe the oem specs rim was a +60 offset with the aluminum DC5R LCAs

imo, 17x8 +45.

with the dc5-r arms and the extra +15 they provide, the +45 will sit like 17x8 +30 on stock arms.

+30 will sit flush.

If you are looking for aggressive look, You should get atleast +25 or under
