Hey guys,

I just recently installed a complete JDM DC5 ITR front suspension on my car with the JDM DC5 ITR Brembo's. The EP3 CTR wheels clear the Brembo's with the JDM DC5 ITR suspension.

Here's a list of everything I used:

- EDM EP3 CTR wheels (17 X 7, +45 offset)
- JDM DC5R front steering knuckles
- JDM DC5R front axleshafts
- JDM DC5R front LCA's
- JDM DC5R front sway bar w/ bushings
- JDM DC5R front Brembo calipers
- JDM DC5R front brake rotors
- JDM DC5R front brake pads
- JDM DC5R exhaust manifold with new gaskets
- JDM DC5R catalytic converter with new gaskets
- Russell SS braided brake lines

Everything fit perfectly. No modifcations. It bolted right in and the EP3 CTR wheels just clear the Brembo's. The EP3 CTR wheel also sit pretty flush with the fenders with the wider DC5R front suspension.

Here's the alignment sheet.

I don't know if its just the pics, but that look real REAL close. I'm happy with my current setup but I'd like to get these one day!

Damn nice man!

Very nice.
I cant even get my car on a rack to pull a printout. None of the alignment shops (with the high end mirror/laser setups) locally will even touch a lowered Honda.

I think the angle that I took the picture makes it look even closer than it is. There's actually 8mm (5/16") clearance.
Thanks dude! I'll let you know how they do on the track next weekend. I'm heading to a road course nearby for a couple of laps.

We have the tools and the "know how". I've also got a little bit of experience with some lowered performance cars. Try doing an alignment on a 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. That's a bitch of a time.

If +45 wheels fit I wonder why the oem DC5-R wheels are +60? I've been thinking about doing this also but I thought I would need +60 wheels for clearance...maybe +50?

The DC5 ITR has a wider front track than the DC5 RSX by 30mm (total). The DC5 ITR front suspension pushes the front track out by 60mm (total). The ITR wheels brings that track back down to 30mm (total) because of the difference in offset. So, using my CTR +45 offset wheels, my front track is 60mm wider than the ITR.

Is this setup lighter or heavier than the the stock calipers and rotors? I know wilwoods bbk is about 8 lbs lighter than stock. Did you need to swap the brake master cylinder and prop valve? And how hard is it to source new rotors and pads for this setup? Sorry for all the questions.....
