From what I understand they are the same pads as on the 2010+ camaro ss. I have the 4pot brembo gt kit and through a shitload of research i came up with this part number for mine.

Those hawk pads are on my car now is what i'm saying, perfect match. The brembo replacements are $260+shipping which is a joke to me.

DC5R front pads are the same as 2003 Nissan 350z w/ track package (Brembos) pads. Rears are Type-S pads.

Honda has a caliper rebuild kit (piston boots and seals) available in Japan but not here. The part number is on this forum and if you have a JDM connection they can order it for you and ship it here. Alternatively, both Stoptech and Zeckhausen.com sell Brembo boots and seals. You just need to know the piston sizes. I measured my JDM DC5R Brembo pistons at 32/36mm (two each per caliper). The Nissan 350Z Brembo calipers share the same pad as the DC5R Brembo calipers but the Nissan has 38/44mm pistons. The Acura TL Brembo calipers have 38/42mm pistons and use a different pad. The Mitsubishi EVO uses 40/46mm pistons and the same pad as the TL.

The JDM DC5R share the same brake pad as the Nissan 350Z Track Edition Brembo calipers. It has the industry standard pad number of 960 and there are a wide range of pads available for it. Your choice should depend on how you use the car: for daily street driving get an OEM equivalent for low dust and noise. For track use, check the Brake FAQ for recommendations.

Replacement rotors are going to be expensive. Just bend over and take it. It’s the cost of JDM goodness. You have identified your options pretty well although there may be others who can source the JDM OEM rotors. There is no USDM equivalent that I have found.

I hope this helps.
