Guys, it's time to move on....the EP3 has been a blessing, but it's time to sell her and move on...

2004 Si, 65K miles. No mods on engine. Stereo has very nice aftermarket speakers and crossovers on both sides (not installed by me). 100% original except for the crossovers. Interior is like new, the exterior has a few door dings, hood flakes, and the driver's side needs some paintwork...see story below..

What to charge? Carmax offered $6500, but I think I could get higher for that myself.

THE GOOD:
Untouched engine, no mods in engine, suspension or exhaust

THE BAD:
STORY: The rear windows are flush, one winter day I scrapped off the ice on the driver's side...well I scrapped right into the paint. SH>T!!! So I touched it up, but it looks very poor compared to a real respray...Not HORRIBLE, but not professional by any means.

The steering wheel emblem is a aftermarket replacement. I pulled the OEM off (no shards remaining in airbag) thinking I'd put a red JDM badge on...bad idea. So I glued an aftermarket badge on. Looks 95% original...

So I'm thinking $8500...is that a good price guys?

6500 sounds about right. Our cars are getting old. 8500 is way too high. It wouldn't sell.

KBB valued my car at 4.5k , Was testing waters on CL and put it up for 6.2k and got many people wanting to buy it.

Never hurts to leave it OBO, but then you get the headaches of low ballers, but wouldn't that happen any how?

Ahhh...so would you guys say 6500 ain't too bad? I'm not insulted by it mind you....just I see them on Autotrader with 100+K and I've got only 65K...

OH and I put the OEM radio back in it...so that interior pic isn't quite up to date.

Okay, good to know.

I welcome any other thoughts too guys!

Gracias!

You should sell me your sideskirts before you trade it in/sell it. They come off pretty easy, and the older cars never came with side skirts, so it wont look goofy without them. :)

Carmax offered me 2k back when I was selling lol..

I ended up getting 7k with Advan RG2s and a bunch of other things that I wish I would've just parted.

my 05 with 64k bluebooks at like 11kish. you shoud have no problem getting at least 8k if you have the right buyer and it runs well.

Low mileage like yours should fetch 8-9k. In my state beaten up 120k ep3s are still going for 6-7 molested as hell as well

I'd ask for book value and be willing to take $500 less if you can get an offer for that much...

Gentlemen and Ladies, I took it to Carmax and handed over the keys. I do think I could have gotten closer to 8, but what they offered was instant and no hassles, or low balling. I still owed some $$ on it (took 401K loan and was paying myself back). I'll pay that off, have quite a bit left over for another toy, and I just gave myself a hefty raise at work since it's not going to be coming out of my check anymore.

This site has been a big help and a lot of fun to be part of.

Thanks and see ya!!!
