Window molding how to?help!

I bought new window molding (the black trim pc. outside the driver's window, also has the outboard half of the felt window wiper) I need help removing this trim without breaking anything.

Do I remove the black vertical trim at the aft end of the window and slide the molding off??

The pillar plastic is really hard to remove without breaking the clips... To replace The weatherstripping I removed it and bought new ones from Honda.
