Well, it seems like my original thread got deleted after the site was down. So here are the updated picture of the Angel Eye headlight.

I try to take pictures with my iphone in the dark and it just won't come out right. I will take some more pictures with an actual camera this weekend. But here are some pictures on the car. Please ignore my badly wrap hood and the scratch on the car.

The headlight is not on. Is all the reflection from the Angel Eye.

Its not hard at all. I just use the double side tape that the angel eyes came with along with some super glue and stick it on to the shroud. And to further secure it I tied some very fine fishing wire on top of the angel eye so it won't fall off the shroud that easily. I also grinded the base of the shroud to let the angel eyes wire to go through.

I thought about writing a DIY for it but then it seems that is pretty much the same as painting your headlight except with the extra step to secure it on to the shroud.

Where did you buy the Angel eyes?

Ebay. search for CCFL Halo Angel Eye. I got the one with the 90mm outer diameter. You also need to buy the ballast for the angel eye too. The angel eye was $20 and the ballast was $24 a pair.

Here is one picture of the install. You can kinda see the double side tape underneath the angel eye on top. And you need to grind a little opening at the base flange. Don't try to cut, saw or drill coz it will crack the shroud. I tried cut it with a cutter and it crack. Good thing the crack is not that long and is at the bottom.

I would say yes it will. But I am not sure if the shroud size is the same as the one on CTR. You can either open it up and measure the actual shroud or you can just kinda eyeball it to estimate the diameter. You can find many different diameter size on ebay.

Did your other post get lost? The one that I posted in about the Xenons?

Are your headlight halogen or xenon? Meaning if they're halogen they'll have a rubber cap on the back of the low beam, if they're xenon they'll have a plastic one.

Yeah somehow the thread was lost after the site update. I have the halogen CTR projector, but it didn't come with the rubber cap on the back of the low beam. But I did purchase an Element rubber cap and it fit perfect. But then like you said it has a hole in the middle. Are you worrying about water or moist getting in? I am currently running the headlight with no rubber cap in the back and so far no condensation yet and it has been foggy here in SF.

I have the same headlights that I am going to put LHD TSX projectors in and convert to OEM HID with the ballast mounted into the bottom and the wiring run inside the headlight housing. I have bought two different hard plastic back caps and neither fits the back of the headlight. The screw hole lines up but the cap doesn't seat correctly. It looks like I could put a rubber cap on the back but I don't think the rubber will clear the back of the bulb socket. I was just wondering if you had something similar that I could get part numbers off of.

If I can't find the correct back cap I'll either have to modify the cap or the headlight housing.

Do the CTR halogen and xenon headlights have the same housing?

They are the same housing, just different bowl for the projector. I wish I could help you out on the plastic back cap issue. I am running aftermarket HID kit on it and I have to leave the back open since that's where the wire are coming out.
