Yeah man. 19" rims with 275 mm tread is the way to go! Especially with the a3. No traction issues at all! You might have to saw at the wheel wells, but you'll be fine.

I believe (hope) the op was referring to the mid 80s 16x8.5 wheel.

The offset is high enough to run adapters, but Ford wheels at 5x4.5 are straight bolt on to five lug EP's.

Rough crowd. I like the retro feel of them. They are heavy, about 22 lbs. or so, couldn't find a set weight number. If you like them, go for it.

It looks stupid, Corvette wheels belong on Corvettes. . . I dont put Civic wheels on my Firebird

Roof racks, rusty hood, cars so low you can not possibly drive them, big wheels with wrong sized tires. . . its all stupid, and Honda owners are just trendy shit faces that copied the retarded vw trends

There was a word filter on another forum that I posted on that changed "sawblades" to "white trash Chevy party wheel."

Seems about right.

Yes. Heavy. I'll weigh mine when I pull the tires off soon.

Digressing here but I would love to have a 16" tire/wheel set with 9.5" tread and weighs around 39 lbs. Anyone have 4 grand they can send me? 8.5" could be done with 36 lbs. Mine will be 38-39 lbs.
