Hey fellas....quick question. Will an IACV work on an A3 motor? Will I need the TB too or the IAcV will work? Thanks.

What are you trying to do? You already have one on your stock tb.

I think he means can he use the one from the type s or does he have to use the whole type s tb

My IACV on my car is bad considering the 2k idle and jumping from 1k-2k. TB is cleaned out and checked to make sure no connections are lose. No bubbles in the coolant either.

I just wanna see if I get an IACV from a type S will it work? Or do I need the TB with the IAcV to make it work.

Yes you can. But you can try to clean it. Theres a how to thread on this forum.
