Official JDM bumper conversion thread

Hey guys and gals,

As an informative thread for people who want to see the JDM bumper conversion I thought it would be a good idea to have a JDM bumper thread where everyone can post pictures of their conversion. This is the place to show photos of the front and rear rebars, bumpers, lips and skirts. Also, post any photos of the way you mounted the OEM CTR side skirts.

02-03 JDM CTR "Prefacelift" Bumper

- need JDM front bumper reinforcement bar ("rebar")
- need JDM rear bumper reinforcement bar ("rebar") and modification to fit
- no front or rear bumper marker lights
- bumpers sit closer to body of car compared to USDM
- front bumper different design compared to facelift
- same side skirt as JDM facelift
- same rear bumper and lip as facelift

Euro Yellow JDM conversion. doesnt look like this anymore :(

They look like 2 dif cars. One looks to have a a spoon n1 and the other a neuspeed/megan/magnaflow dual tip.

Everything just got back from the bodyshop. Except the front bumper because it was new from Honda UK.

I hope so. They look soooooo good even off the car.

I'm going to do a closeup difference between the USDM and JDM bumpers from every corner and angle.

I like both cars. But, I have to give the edge to Will (Wilzepash) because I know he buys authentic Mugen parts and not replica's.

Just got my rear bumper and lip in primer. I'm really excited! I'll post up pics of the re-finishing process and installation of JDM rebars. Both my front and rear set-ups are in primer, so I'm going to be fixing the few scratches on them, re-primer and then painting everything myself. Pre-lift taillights going in during the install too! :shady:

Thanks. I thought about it, but I like the ITR rims. Also thought of getting staggered work cr Kai's to keep the look but I haven't came across 2 sets of 2 pairs.
