ok so i went from oem to rota subzeros 15", got sportline springs. too much wheel gap. got some mugen mf10 reps 16" but they had 40 series tires. still to much. so i went and traded them for some 15" xxrs +15 offset with 50 series tires. im gonna go up to 55 series i guess but i will still have gap. im thinking of going with full coilovers now but i have so many other things on my to do list for the ep. im trying to get opinions. so the question is.....

would you get full coilovers or
reflash, new tires, mugen wing and new headlights?

i cant decied but im leaning to the 2nd option.

Lowering the car is a must if you want it to look clean. Wing, head lights can wait.

if you're choosing your wheel setup entirely based around how much wheel gap you have you're doing it for the wrong reasons. if all you want is low get some racelands for 450 bucks and use the rest to get your other shit. reflash is a waste of money too. just go k pro if you're gonna go that route.

Alright what do you mean gap? one finger, two fingers, your whole palm?
And 15" wheels and 50 series doesnt help the full effect. There's a big difference between 195mm to 225mm tread.
Do you have a rear camber kit? If you do any kind of drop, you're going to need a rear camber kit, or expect yourself buying new tires every 2 months.
Now what kind of drop are you looking for dumpped or a nice race stance giving your self some wiggle room through the turns.

Last but not least, don't cut the springs or try to dump it to the floor, unless you like dragging your exhaust, and fucking up your steering rack, tie rods, ball joints, and wheel bearings. You can't even call it a performance upgrade.

Oh yeah pictures help alot.

Get rid of the 15's altogether, get some 16's with a proper offset and run some 225/50 tires.
Youre killing your acceleration by running these small ass tires.

yeah. when you run a wheel and tire setup that is shorter than OEM, your speedo will be off. plus I think you rack up miles faster on your odometer than you actually do. cause your speedo is calibrated for the OEM spec stuff

exactly. it's not a huge difference, but its enough to matter.

you do realize that the second number describing tire size is not a fixed value, but a ratio.

so... saying you went from a 40 to a 50 or 55 even doesn't necessarily mean you've gotten a "taller" tire.

Example:
205/50-15 has a side wall height of ~4 inches.
225/45-15 Also has a side wall height of ~4 inches...

the second # is telling you the ratio between the section width (the first number) and sidewall height. 205/50 Saying the section width is 205 & the side wall is 50% of 205
