Hi all,
My hatch is going to turn 100,000 miles very soon. I bought it with 36,000 miles and has been a trouble-free, fun to drive car.
Are there any major services needed at 100K miles? I feel that I've taken care of many of them for now, but there may be more obscure things I'm forgetting.
I've replaced:
Water pump at 90k
New brakes at 85k
Two transmission oil changes @ 30k intervals
Regular 5k oil change intervals
Valve adjustment at 50k miles
Alignment at 95k miles.
I will have the following replaced soon on general principles:
Brake fluid
Clutch fluid.
Also, what is the general lifespan of stock suspension components? I'm thinking shocks(rear), front struts, and other suspension related parts. The ride is fine, but that doesn't always hide worn and failing parts.
Thanks
