Turn Signal Problem (hazard button plugged in)

I had just installed a new stereo on my car and noticed that I no longer have hazard and turn signal lights. First thing I checked was the hazard button but it is securely plugged in. Checked the fuses (hazard under the hood and turn signal in the driver footwell) and tested the relay with 12v power and a test bulb which all came out working. Anyone have any ideas? Im not getting any light behind the button when I turn on the headlights.

Seems like the problem is with the hazard button itself. I shorted out two pins on the hazard button wire harness and it allows me to use the turn signals without the button itself.
