I love how the turbo is hidden, they had to put "Turbocharged by HKS" on the engine cover just so you would know.

I'm sensing some hostility between our RSX-s owner and our Si owner..can't we all just get along?

Exactly. All I said was that its on a K20A2...and personally I havent seen one on an A3..but its not like it would be hard to do especially with the lower compression...so chill the fuck out jeez

Heard from some major companies, that superchargers will be available after 1st quarter of 2003 and turbos 1st or 2nd quarter of 2003.

screw supechargers especially jr ones. I had one and coudn't stand the slipping belts, leaking oil from the charger, and tip in detonation. They never give you everything you need to run correctly. Either go turbo or na

Yeah, but a lot of your comments on here are rude. That's why you're getting that kind of response...

does the SI have the same engine code as the rsx base model?

If users are being sarcastic it should be made obvious, ya kno? I wouldn't want to see this forum become like a lot of the others. People should be able to comment or ask a question without having someone jump all over them for it.

Point out where I have been rude. Every post I have posted has been helpful.. If youre referring to the first ever post I made on here, your just being a stuck up moderator who couldnt take negative critisism on the Si....which I didnt even give that much anyway.

Yes, it is K20A3. The reason for the torque difference is the intake manifold.

so we do have the same engine just different intake manifold, that's it?

MagusDC5
07-23-2002, 09:53 PM
yup...here is a pic of a buddy of mines base engine

you can see that the intake manifold is plastic, not metal.

here is 2k2civicsi's bay so you can see the difference
