The EP3's have a double row cartridge bearing in the front. Not adjustable, if it has excess endplay, buy a new one! (end play is spec'ed at 0 to .002inches in the service manual)

Here's a good one for ya'll:

The DC5R has the same rear knuckle and hub as the RSX-s so it's safe to conclude that the wheels bearing is probably the same part.
However, the front is a completely different part. What's that part number?

I have never done a wheel bearing job on a EP3. All the other ones I've done (Toyota corolla) they've been pressed in. Based on the previous post, the bearings are not pressed, just a ring that gets clipped on like the compliance bushing?

It could be your tie rod end. Check that as well

Our bearings are NOT c-clipped in. They are pressed out with a hydraulic press for removal and pressed in for installation. I've done enough wheel bearings to know this and snapped lug nut studs for friends of mine. Only way to replace the stud is to pressed the wheel bearing out because it has the hub pressed in it.

You need to buy new wheel bearings, you cannot repack ours, they're closed wheel bearings. You shouldn't spend more than 200 for both bearings.

they are like $55 for one side. I've done my share of wheel bearings too. The shop charges $400 per side IIRC. This was because for some freaking reason, my friend's pressing thing was able to press out older civics and corollas, but the ep3 couldn't fit on his fixture. So I had to rent the damn stupid autozone/oreillys pressing kit which was shitty too. If you can get someone to press it out for cheap do it. The rest is simple. Only pressing it is a pain in the butt.

Where did you get OEM for 55 bucks. I have a press available and just did this on my friends dc5. Just need to know where the best place to buy is

I bought OEM spec bearings from Advance Auto Parts for my type S knuckles/spindles. Never had any fitment issues or failure problems with them..and I got them both for under $120 with tax.
