Snap then loose clutch pedal and nothing

Hey everyone. Wa about to park today pushed the clutch in to put her I. First there was a loud snap and ten my pedal got really soft and I couldn't get into any gears. Any ideas? Did I lose my clutch? Mate a linkage?

Sounds like exactly what happened to me this past summer... Clutch Master Cylinder broke...

Look for some clutch fluid and a little bolt head under your car. The side plate on the CMC has 3 bolts holding it on. In my case, the head of one of those bolts snapped, then fluid came out...

I don't remember exact numbers, but I think the part was around $70 and labor was about $120.

Ended up being the cmc. Getting it fixed this Monday.....so much for taking it to a dealer because I don't have the time haha. Oh well....getting my srs light fixed for free guess it was the retractor?? No more paper clip mod for me! Thanks for the help again everyone.

I hope you're getting a good deal on labor, as I understand it the only hard part of this job is bleeding the lines--Jeep cylinders come pre-bled which was a huge relief.
