ive been shopping around for a ep...and im kinda worried about how high the mileage on the ones ive seen....??? wonder if ill need to do any major repairs at such hi mileage...ive seen some at 105k,120k,128k...

It depends how much you are willing to spend, I bought mine 7 years ago with 70k, used it up until about a month ago and it had 170k on it before trading it in. No major problems, all in all i may have invested 2,000 in mechanical issues. over 7 years, thats nothing.

Come on, these miles aren't shit. I have 230000 miles on my ep and still beat the hell out of her. I drive her high in the rev range all the time and she only wants more. This thing is a beast. I've only adjusted the valves and did routine maintence since I've had it. The car has earned my respect. If the freaken engine ever goes I will replace it. She is worthy of this. But I'm hoping to go 500000 on this engine no bs.

I bought my EP3 with 145k, I'm at 190k now and the only major maintenance I've done is the clutch at 160k. Doing valve adjustment and serpentine belt very soon. Suspension was in very rough shape due to previous owner installing springs with a 2.5" drop so I've replaced almost everything as far as the suspension. As long as you take good care of her and keep up with the maintenance, any honda will easily hit 900k:

2002 with a bit past 157k. Had I believe 117k and the engine is still strong! Has handled the many summer heat in Phoenix and long travels to San Diego with that MPG averaging 31 on the highway. Best decision I have made!

04 with 175k. had the car at 20k, took the car to vegas 4x and LA 6x. i drive my car all over the place. at one point i was running 205/50/16 that also sped up the milage process.

I bought mine in 06 with 20k. I now have 233k. Water pump is just beginning to howl. I'm on my 2nd clutch, 175k on first one and it needs some front end work. No rust and I have driven it through every winter here in NY. I also have a 93 Legend with 260k on it from California. Zero rust on that car too.
