I guess it depends on how u drive(granny drving style, rarely goes fast) and what climate(chicago, all seasons) you drive in, but are these better (keeps engine long lasting and problem free) than using synth with good filter?

I probably wouldn't use them with my oil change routine. If you plan on using an oil for one year 25,000 mile intervals (such as Amsoil brags about) then they may help you. But I don't believe anyone should run oil that long. There has been lots of discussions about these filters at www.bobistheoilguy.com , in the oil filter forum, or do a search at any of the forums if you visit.

I run AMSOIL 0w30 in my TYPE-R with the stock OEM filter. Once I break in the motor, after 10K on the EP, I'll switch to syn AMSOIL. I don't have any experience with their filters though, but I have sold some to a HONDA-CHALLENGE TYPE-R before. He likes them as with his remote oil location.

Thanks,
Victor
