Keeping it in fourth on the highway

After about 3,000 miles, my Si is happier in the 4 to 5 rpm range at fourth gear so, unless I take it over 80 mph, I just keep it in fourth for most applications.

The car wants to rev, let it rev.

Yeah but you'll be filling your gastank constantly if you do that. That's the one thing I love about my winter beater. Tank of gas lasts me over a week!

you prolly waste a lot gas. i try to shift into 5th as soon as i can unless i feel like rippin it a little bit.

OR just do 105 in 5th gear... same revs, and you get to your destination that much faster!
