Stock Airbox with K24a2?

Anyone managed to fit a stock airbox in with a k24a2? I would like to run the stock box for winter.

I would think the flex pipe from the air box to the Throttle body would allow for the increase in heights.

Well, I gave it a good try this weekend but just couldn't get it to fit. Not sure I've exhausted all avenues yet but it's not looking good. I was also wondering if the Comptech Icebox would fit... Hopefully someone has tried/done it.

just slap on a filter straight the the throttle body instead. saves u a lot of trouble.

Are you using the RBB intake? If you are then it won't fit. You need to use an RBC manifold or similar to be able to use the stock airbox and the flex elbow from an FG/FD Civic Si.

if you're running a k24a2 head, a coolant passage gets in the way if you wanna install the oem airbox and mugen airbox, I'm pretty sure the arc or comptech airbox's wont fit as well.
