Hard going into 5th and reverse

I just a new clutch installed, and I am having trouble getting it in 5th and reverse. I never had the problem until after I had the clutch put in. From my research on here it sounds like it is the Clutch Master Cylinder? Any other suggestions to what the cause can be?

A new clutch can reveal an aging CMC if I remember correctly, so you may be on the right track. However, wait for somebody else to chime in.

^ ok, Installed exedy oem clutch, and the clutch pedal was much lighter also btw...

Try changing your trans fluid if they didn't already do so when they changed the clutch

if just changing fluid doesnt help, try using amsoil synchromesh, it makes shifting noticeably smoother.
