ABS light on but ABS still works?

So my light turned on yesterday after I washed the car. What's strange is that when I do some srapid breaking from 40 or over I feel the ABS kicking in the pedal. So what's the deal? I can't figure it out. Anyone experience this before?

Could be just the sensor...
ABS should have a code, read that, maybe that will show more light about what's going on. There different DTC's....
Look for damage or signs of fluid leakage at line joints, modulator...

Did an eye level check on everything without a fullblown taking apart session. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Borrowed a +$5000 code reader from a friend's shop and it pulled the following codes:

00768 (0300) UNKNOWN
00769 (0301) UNKNOWN

So I really don't feel like driving to the stealership so they can take my money to tell me what's wrong. I tried using Google on those and nothing comes up.
