Has anyone put a rear tow hook on an ep with the HFP kit? I don't want to waste my money if the lip sits too low to put a tow hook on it. Thanks

I had a tow hook long time ago, looking back at it i feel dumb ever having that on my car hahaha. But to answer your question i believe that lip will partially block with the hook from sitting straight, unless you can somehow angle it down which will look awful anyways.

Ben had a rear tow hook on his hfp lip. Fit fine.

i will never understand what is visually appealing about a big ugly piece of aluminum hanging out from under your bumper that will never be used for anything.

I need in one soon too. Not for visual appearance. I need it in case I get stuck in the mud and won't rip my lip off when I get it pulled out

Don't worry about what people say about the tow hook. If you like it then do it.

well, sure the toe hook is mainly for the track but it also come in handy for alot more. I have used my tow hook 3 times. Mainly in the snow headed up to a ski resort. My car got stuck in the snow and my buddy used his jeep to pull me out from the rear with the tow hook. Hell yea! Plus if i ever breakdown for some reason on the street they can tow it on the trailer from the rear. Yeeesss siirrrr!

if you actually use it then i guess i can accept that.

buuuuuuut if i was going to have one to actually use it would be similar to the SHG design. something that welds on right in place of the weak stock piece and looks much cleaner than a bolt on aftermarket one. just two cents coming from a function over form guy.

Agreed! I actually though about that but then said the hell with it because i could switch out styles of tow hooks when ever i wanted. More for convienience purposes.

Honestly after reading all of this I kinda want a tow hook. Tow truck guys can sometimes be stupid and lazy and cars with lips can easily be destroyed when getting towed or pulled out of a sticky situation. Why not make it a no brainer for these guys and save our selves from spending even more money replacing parts. A relatively inexpensive part to avoid bigger costs later, it's almost like preventative maintainance!!!
