carb sticker for aftermarket stuff...

how can we get a sticker if it didn't come with one? for example my aem CAI doesn't have one. i got it the first week it was out. can i just call them? it's been about 7 months, should i clean the filter too?:)

I would not worry about a sticker for the AEM CAI. Their C.A.R.B E.O. # is still pending as far as I know and is considered legal in Cali for racing vehicles but not sure about public highways. Anywhere else you should be ok for the DMV. I got the K&N filter cleaner kit (~$15), and usually clean it every 2-3 months. Last time, about 2 months ago, there was not much dirt at all. ;)

Edit: whoops, your in Cali, damn. The laws are all screwy down there.

haha. yup. i heard somewhere you could call them or email them and they'd send you something you could print out, carb number possibly. i don't know maybe i dreamt it. but if they aren't done testing yet then i can't do anything. oh well. so you clean your filter every 2-3 months? damn i better clean mine soon then.
