Orange dipstick is driving me crazy!!!

That damn orange oil dipstick is driving me nuts. I have seen black ones but i think that those pics were of japanese or euro cars. I cant believe i am lookin to buy a "JDM Black Dipstick" :D Anybody know where to buy em? Online shopping would be nice.

irrational, i thought i was the only one in the whole freaking world that wanted a black dip stick i've looking for one since i bought the car in march, and everyone gives me a hard time because its a dip stick, maybe their are people that look into detail,

i think that this was discussed before... can't you just buy an rsx dipstick? they have a black handle...

I thought the RSX-S had a black dipstick, but they have a different oil pan, and higher oil capacity and sump, thus I am not sure if their dipstick would be accurate in our engine if it was available as black.

If it it were that easy...do you really think that i would have posted this. i have attatched a pic of the rsx-s engine bay with its orange shiet. Are Goldy02 and i the only ones who are looking to shit can the orange in favor of a black dipstick. I know that it seems like such a small deal but details are important.

It's orange so us North American dough-heads, who can't tell a dipstick from hole in the ground, can find the durn thing.

Now most of here can find various engine parts without both hands and a road map, but if the dipstick WAS black or grey, They would get millions of people storming into the dealership saying...

Dough-head: "The manual says to check the oil at every fill-up, BUT I CAN'T FIND THE DIPSTICK!"

Dealer: "Here it is here sir."

Dough-head: "Why do they make it so hard to see?"

Dealer: "It's right there! What do want them to do, paint it Day-Glo orange or something?

i was looking for the same thing before i gave up and just painted mine with some black semi-gloss high temp paint. anyways i found one online after the fact cause the orange dipstick IS gay! it looks way better black.
