Leaky Valve Fitting

My rear passenger side tire has a small leak at the base of the valve body. I noticed this when I was washing my car, and there was a faint hissing sound accompanied by small bubbles accumulating at the base of the valve fitting where it meets the wheel. It's nothing major, and I can drive for days at a time without putting in air, but I'd like to take care of it.

Are there any at-home, DIY remedies for this problem or should I just take it to a tire shop and be done with it?
