The Accord Euro R motor, it's a K20A with an output of 220hp @ 8,000RPM. Also available for the new J-spec accord is a K24, identical to the Acura TSX's powerplant.

What differences are there between that and the ITR K20A?

the euro R motor is a 2.4 liter k24
type R as u know is a 2.0 liter k20a

and the k24 also powers the new CRV...

its basically the H22 vs the B18C5, roughly the same hp numbers, but the K24 has more torque and less revs.

This one site had specs for a K20a and it looked like this:

220hp@8000rpm
206tq@7000rpm(<--???) now this looks like BS, i though it has around 150tq, but im not sure

anyone know the right tq on the k20a?

Well 206 may be correct, but its from another country. They measure it very differently dependant upon where you go. The RSX-S has 142 I believe, so it cant be far from that.

It has 150 trq

It's actually 20. 6 not 206. Somebody missed a decimal point.

And torque is measured in kg/m in Japan since they don't use lbs.

Honda club egypt, hosted by geocities. hmmm... seems a bit odd and out of place with the rest. Would be nice if it were true. looks like a cross ref gone bad.

Here is a real dyno of the same K20A done in October last year.

Did not check the rest, but they seemed legit to a degree, looking at the format makes me cringe. I remember doing layouts like that in DB2 way back when. It's not a true rep. just some guys typing and format that leads me to suspect.

Like I said, somebody missed a decimal point. Probably the guy who typed out the info for the site. If I put on a site that I had a 65 inch dick would you believe it because you read it? Or would you believe that I probably forgot a decimal point since 6.5 is much more realistic?

According to Automobile Magazine:
2.4 L
200 hp
166 lb-ft

So, to answer your question, K24. Obviously it's not the same one as in Element and CR-V (K24A1, is it?), because that one has only 160 hp (correct me if that's wrong), so it's got to be some other K24.

One site says 220hp @ 8000 rpm and 21kg of torque, that converts to 205.93965 usa version of torque.
So who has the correct tq specs?

HgSi

Torque cannot be measured in kg. That would be like saying 200 lb of torque, which makes no sense. It's usually measured in Nm, but 21 Nm comes out to about 15 lb-ft, which is obviously not right. A more ghetto way of measuring torque would be in kg-m, if you measure force in terms of kg (which is the ghetto part). 21 kg-m of torque would come out to about 152 lb-ft. But that is a very ghetto way of mearusing torue. So yeah... I don't know what the correct figures are supposed to be.

Here is a better represent.

kilogramm-force meter per second : 21

foot pound-force per second (ft*lbf/s) : 151.9

I'm wondering about fitment... Do you think there will be problems putting it in our car, because our engine bay is so small? I assume since it's a K-block, it would mount ok, but would there be problems with accessories having to be relocated, etc., that would make it a pain in the butt to do a swap? I guess so, right? Unlike the K20A2 swap, which is fairly straightforward, from what I've read. It would probably be worth it, though.
