Hey there...I assume you are talking about the picture I posted below? That's from a European Civic hatchback... It'll be tricky finding that piece. However, if you do locate one, it sure won't be cheap to import. How about a carbon fiber dash kit? It'll be darker thank stock and a hell of a lot cheaper that an imported dash.

Carbon fiber would be cheaper than having that imported? Isnt it like 400 dollars for that kit. Silver is starting to look alot better now. Thanks.

Why not just use some spray paint.

Paint will work ( thats what the silver coating is). Check out how I painted mine. Go to the Electronics forum and look at "Tell me what you think". I used auto body paint on it.

spray paint is quick and easy, but i got the carbon fiber, and i'm happy with that

Personally, I think that spray paint looks ghetto 99% of the time. Unless you're a really good painter, or found just the right place for it. I'd never take a can to my interior...

The worst case scenerio is that the paint looks terrible. If he does mess it up with the color black he can always hide it with the Carbon Fiber. So he has nothing to lose.

Use some Tamiya modelling paint. This paint is better quality than all other spray paints I used. It costs a bit more but you get much more color selection and the paint almost always comes out perfect. I think a metallic black or gunmetal dash would look good

Does anyone have any pictures of what theyve done to the interior?

I have the carbon fiber kit, and honestly i think that looks better than the straight factory black that is in the picture. I had my issues with the carbon fiber kit for a while that kept me from getting it right away, but i took a chance and got it and am so glad i did. takes that bright silver look outta the mix which looks way better than stock imo:)

I would still like to know if anyone has a lead on the european black dash part shown in the second post. Costs? Availability? Would it for sure fit the N.A. version? Thanks.
