Removing 12 Volt Outlet

How do you remove the 12 Volt Outlet to get to the wiring behind it? I just purchased a 4 way splitter that i want to hardwire to the wires behind the outlet and then hide the splitter under the cup holders in the cubby hole to run cell phone charger/gps/etc. Any Info would be greatly appreciated as I want to do it right w/o cracking any $$$ Honda dash pieces.

Just flip the cover up and pull on it, but not too hard. It should pop right out. Mine came out real easy when I took it out.
