Oh hell yeah! I saw this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewItem&item=2400334743
and thought it was someone trying to sell a type r kit that won't even fit unless you have the right bumpers. I emailed the guy about fitament problems.
Here's his answer:
Hello Mike,
My company has made these kits specifically for a customer who had that issue, so they are made specifiaclly for the USDM si models. I hope that this has answered your question, please let me know if you have any other concerns.
Thanks
Cuervo, A

So basically this guy and his company made a knock off lip kit that actually fits. Gotta love it :) If I had the money to burn, I'd buy it in a heart beat.

*buy it now for $975* :( That's a lot considering it's only a lip kit and made of fiberglass.

that seems to be the price now a days. Tsunami's lip kit for the 96-00 civics was too cheap either

No way I would do it without seeing it on an Si.

Why is he showing pictures of a Type R instead of the kit on an Si?

I think that's what he was saying....a lip kit kit being the whole set. Front and rear lips, and side skirts

Yeah that's what I meant. The way I figure it is that my old tsunami bumper ran about $300 and it still sells for around that much. $300 for the back and same for skirts. That totals to about $900 for a full kit of bumper covers and skirts made of urethane. Real Mugen lips for 99-00 civics run $300 and that's for mugen, this stuff is neo. I really wish someone would make them in abs plastic though. It's a good medium between fiberglass and urethane and its dirt cheap too. Just look at all the group buys for type-r and mugen style lips, they usually go for $100. Probably won't ever happen though because our civics are such poor sellers :( .

no it's not. It's just the lip kit. It fits directly to the Si.

I not gonna buy any lip kit that is made for the Si, I hate the bumper reflectors, not to mention the Si bumper sticks our further.

Be careful, it may be the erebuni one... You never know with Ebay and the guy selling it may not know SH!@T. But if someone wants to try it then go for it, let us all know. Ya agree on wont it look weird cause the US spec is wider???

i emailed the guy about just the front lip, he wrote;

Hello,
Just the front lip would be 380shipped, sucks, but the shipping is high cause of size not weight.
Thanks

I'll believe it when I see it. Even if it does fit, it'll look like shit on the USDM bumpers.
