Hey everyone, been missing for a little while. So if you didn't see the post on the facebook group or haven't talked to me in awhile, I sold the EP about 2 months ago now.

Ended up selling the car to a guy who was an old customer of mine who is anal about his cars (has the cleanest DC2 I've ever seen, turbo EG and a GT3000 SW20 MR2 clone). So it's in good hands. But, that brings us to the new set of wheels.....

I managed to pick up a 2002 WRX for the exact same price I sold my EP for. When I picked it up...

There was some minor issues with it, trunk lid was rotten, turbo inlet hose was ripped, have an intermittent EVAP code that comes up every so often, but other than that, nothing else major to complain about.
So I started poking around and making some improvements, as well as fixing any issues that there were.
Replaced the trunk lid

Sound deadened the trunk

Installed new turbo Perrin inlet hose, Intercooler Y-Pipe, intercooler to throttle body coupler, intercooler screeen and a fresh coat of paint on the intercooler

Then new lightweight Perrin crank pulley

looks sexy man. Coming along great :D

What do you use for sound deadening? I'm considering doing it to the hatch as the back and doors rattle like crazy.

For the trunk I used spray-on-boom mat. I did it just because the drone from the exhaust was pretty bad when I got the car since there wasn't a carpet or in it. If you've got rattles though, get some hushmat or boom mat, I used hushmat on the EP and I really didn't have a whole lot of rattles or sound.
