Hello Fellow EP Nerds

I have made up mind to get some XXR's 17x8.25 +25 for my 05 si. I have seen other ep3's with this setup before. I just need some input of the installation considerations.
I will NOT be lowering my car. Not yet atleast. I drive around the country back roads in weekends. I am keeping the stock wheels for that purpose though.

So other than rolling up the fenders will I need any other mods to make this wheel fit?

The tire size options are 205/45/17 or 215/40/17.

Any kind of information will be very helpful before I do this!

I will be running a 17x8.5" wheel with a +35 offset, so very similar poke between the two. I however am lowered. That being said, I am looking to run a 215/45 tire, more than likely the Dunlop Direzza. The tire is the correct size from a gearing stand point. The only concerns considerations I have will be at the rear. I have no intention of running stupid amounts of camber and as such will be getting a roll and about an 1/8" pull. That *should* cover the rear. The fronts are fine as there is plenty of room and about 10-12 mm of difference between the front and rear wells. At your un-lowered height, I do believe you can pull off a much better size than the 205 with very little work. Plus a beefier side wall looks better than an aggressive wheel set with crazy fender gap.
Thats my two cents. Good luck on your adventure.

i run that same exact setup. 17x8.25 +25 front and back running 205/40/17 and it fits pretty good. i have a .5 inch wheel gap with no roll with no rubbing. its stretched out non the less but im planning on going with 215/45/17 or 205/45/17 next because the tires are too skinny and to cover more wheel gap. but to answer your question 205/40-45/17 will fit with or without a drop pretty nicely.

Ubeyo would you mind or could you put up a couple pictures of the back end. Preferably a 3/4 view from the rear bumper and maybe a straight shot from behind to show the fitment?
It would be really helpful if you could.

I have been running that specs with 215/40/17 with 1.5 drop. You will need to slightly roll fenders. Dont get those rims if you are on stock ride height. Looks terribly Mexiflush. You dont need anything else to run that specs but as I said please dont get them if you are not lowered.
