Will a race header pass in Chicago as long as no CELs are on?

Yes, I've been running a test pipe with a defouler since I got my EP3 and I always pass emissions

Thanks. How about the smell? And the noise (I assume you are on the stock muffler)?

I used to have a test pipe on my '01 S2000 and could definitely smell it - didnt think it was THAT bad though...

My exhaust is all stock aside from the test pipe (I bought it like that). It's not that loud and it smells a little but I never notice it anymore. Probably going to upgrade to a race header and full catback soon.
