I've been on this site for a little while now so I guess I should have done this a long time ago. I'm from Canada and I have an '02 SiR. I've had the car for a couple years now and have just started getting into the upgrades after reading all the posts on this site and being inspired. There is a wealth of information on here and its helped me through lots of my upgrades. My car is mainly just a toy that goes out on nice days and now just started going to the drag strip with it. I’m a mechanic and I’ve done all my work on the car myself, including learning to tune kpro. This year I think I’ve spent more time working on the car then driving it, but that’s almost as much fun.
I’m trying to keep the car as original looking as I can, so all upgrades have only been performance. (I do love the look of these cars done up but it’s not in the budget for me)
Upgrades so far on the car:
’04 K24A2 with RBB intake
PLM race header, high flow cat, custom exhaust to a Megan axle back (Loud but I like the stock look of the Megan)
Short ram air intake, (hot air intake, and it needs to go)
Type R springs and shocks
I probably won’t go much further with upgrades, it’s very easy to get carried away and very expensive. If I do anything else, it will probably be finding a way to fit a cold air intake on the car and eventually a TSX 6’th gear and limited slip diff would be nice.
Updated: I figured out a custom cold air intake for the RBB manifold, and figured out how to post pics on here, sorry about the wait.
