After installing the K&N Typhoon intake on my 2003, the brake booster seemingly stopped working. It feels like there is a ton of air in the brakes. The brake pedal now feels like I am doing a super-heavy leg press when trying to stop even from a slow speed. I uninstalled the intake and checked for any loose or disconnected sensors or lines and didn't find any. I dont see any fluids on the floor or leaking around the master cylinder.

What could have gone wrong? I suspect disconnecting the battery prior to the intake install had something to do with it. Does anyone know what number fuse is for the brake booster?

Brake booster is ...not electrical.
No fuse. Verify the vacuum hose is connected at both the booster and valve cover (or intake manifold). Listen for air leaks.
Outside of that, cant think of anything.
