I am also planning on putting 18" rims on my car also. I don't think it should cause any problems to your handling. It might effect your speedometer, but i am not sure of that either.

this is just my opinion guys, I think 18 is too much for our cars, the most would be 17s with 205/45/17 or 215/45/17.
good luck and don't worry about the speedometer.

I vote for the black ones. I almost got these (http://ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6399) in black.

yeah I agree, plus with a big wheel like that, the rotational mass starts to kill your times...if you care about that :)

im on motegi chrome 18's, its great im actually thinking about some light 19's. as far as handling its great no probs, and the spedo is 5 mph faster than actual speed.

As far as time goes if i take my car to the track i won't run it with 18's on it. I would buy some slicks mount them on either 15" light weight rims or the stock ones. the 18 are for every day use. I don't plan on racing anyone in the streets anymore.

yeah, that is a good point. Something I've been considering myself, I would probably go 17 at the most for me
