so ever since my 03 SI was totaled I have wanted another one since so my question is I found an 02 SI with 163k all stock no modifications. body is straight the paint is good. the only thing they disclose that's wrong is The check engine light for the catalytic converter they're asking 4100 is that too much for that number of miles?

That car sells for $4100 in excellent condition and $3800 for good. I'd offer him $3900. And 163K miles isn't a lot if the owner took care of the car. I actually boosted my car at 160K miles :)

I paid 4300 for mine back in 2010 with 191k on it. The car now has almost 219k. Original clutch and engine related stuff. As your creeping 200k be prepared to have wheel bearings replaced and maybe a caliper or two. Other then two bearings and 3 calipers my car has been pretty reliable. I’ve upgraded a few things along the way as well. ``

I'd start at $3500.00.

163k shouldn't be an issue. Like 303 mentioned, It comes down to how well the car was cared for. I would consider buying it, esp if it has service records.

seems like a cheap price to me... very cheap. but i prefer 04/05 with the five lug rims and different headlights and tail-lights.

found my '04 for $3500 with 121k. just have to be patient and ask around, I ended up catching this guy before he even put the car up on CL.

That being said, I did buy it with all 4 cylinders misfiring, but changing the spark plugs and wires fixed all that 100%

Nice!
I remember chatting with you way back in the day, dunno if you had parts for sale or something.
Think you were in Austin then (I'm up the road in Georgetown).
Welcome back!
