Friend of mine just purchased a new CRV and he looked around for a place to do clear coats, he spoke to Castle HOnda (NW subs, IL) and they'll do it for $80 per car...

I spoke to him and was thinking about doing it on my car (03' Civic LX, 2 weeks old :D)...

Are they worth it?

Friend of mine says it lasts for couple of years and its better for new cars since it'll keep the paint in better quality over time..

just wondering if I should do it, OR try to do it myself?

thanx thanx.. WOOT WOOT! IM A MEMBER NOW :D (man i love these monkey emocons :D):D :p

I think that all new cars have clear coated paint. I think that they are trying to sell you a paint sealant and not an actual clear coat.

I'd spend my money on some good care care products. Just my $.02
