If you would like to submit it to the DIY contest and it's from this year. I don't see why not. If it's from this year go head!

How does the judging work?

is it how easily the instructions can be understood?

pictures documenting each step?

Will the difficulty/ number of steps/ time of completion be weighted?

.....

In my opinion it should not depend on if the creator had a bad cameras, lack of photoshop, a shortage of labor-intensive tasks available for documentation, etc. Sure, a nice camera and photoshop might make the DIY better to some, but since this is a contest that puts people in certain situations at a disadvantage.

just as long as the DIY is visible and understandable, basically it's free for all , we are testing to see what come s out and next month the contest will be lined up with rules and the prizes much bigger... like actual parts and or Discounts to products. So this will be going on for a while.
