It's used to adjust the camber back to stock specs. When you lower the car, the tires point in (negative camber) and the kits make them sit up straight again.

(Laymen's terms)

So if you have a fully adjustable set up, and slam the car and adjust the camber, do you have to re-adjust it when/if you raise the car? Common sense says yes, but hey.........

I can't find the link right now, but a while back I read an article that showed how to do DIY camber adjustment by adding washers to a suspension component. Has anyone here considered trying anything like this? I don't know enough about our suspension to know if it's possible. I still haven't lowered my car.

Sure you have to readjust it. You slammed it, now you have insane negative camber. Adjust it, now 0 camber. Raise it, now you have insane positive camber.

As far as adjusting the camber with bolts, I am looking into it. I've found the adjusting bolt in the shop manual, but the honda dealerships I go to to get the parts from are morons, so at the moment I can't tell you what you need, but I know it can be done in the front on our cars.

I'd get that but the problem is that bolt, unless it's from honda, is not legal in STS.

Thanks Suk

What about the washer technique? How do you adjust it that way?

You can't do it with washers as far as I know with our car, but you can do it this way. (http://ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7650)
