I've been looking and looking for the right car since August and found a pretty good deal on craigslist this last weekend. So I jumped all over it. And actually got an even better deal out of it. It was owned by an older lady who babied it. For whatever reason she had some really crappy graphics on the side, so that will be the first thing to go.

2005 Civic Si with 73k miles. Pretty clean car in great shape. Let the mods and fun begin...

Wow, that's cherry!

Congrats on the purchase. She looks like she was worth the wait. Welcome to the forums

Nice pick up... What are your plans for it? If I had to do it all over I would have started with the Aspec suspension + wheels/tires + wing. Those mods together probably made the biggest change in the cars overall character. An intake made it fun to drive w/out overwhelming with drone like an exhaust (unless you keep the cat and have a silencer handy).

First things to do with this car are window tint and replacing the stock stereo. Actually first is getting the graphics off. I tend to research everything to death so I can get the best possible results on my vehicles. We'll have to see what Mrs. Claus brings me this year...

haha yeah those gotta go. the pinstripe was my biggest issue when i got my car. i removed it and now it looks kinda shitty where the stripe was lol. watch out for that i guess.

sounds like your on the right path. look forward to "seeing it around"

Was able to spend some time this last saturday and got rid of all the horrible stickers on the side of the car. Left the factory pinstripe for now, still don't know if that's going to go or not. The car looks 100% better now. Started looking into the A-spec suspension, which is most likely the direction I will be going.

Not much, to be honest, most people don't believe me when I tell them. For me, patience paid off big time on this one. 5k.

I believe it. So many people I meet that are Honda "enthusiasts" immediately change their demeanor when they find out I drive an EP.

It's as if no one recognizes it as a Honda, and as a result of this the demand for EP's is rock bottom right now.

I wonder if anyone cares to remind them that before engines swaps all their little 92-95 shitty Civic came with single jingles that couldn't even more the car out of it's own way...

5k is nothing for that age and mileage. I would say deal of the year. Good job man.
