Has anyone changed the springs on their A-Spec suspension?
I was planning to change the springs on my A-Spec suspension in order to get a little more of a drop, I'm looking to lower it about another inch, maybe just another .7-.8" lower. I was thinking of getting Eibach Pro Kit(Front 1' Back 1.1") or Tien H Tech(Front .8" Rear .7"). If A-Spec's lower .75" and I change to a spring that lowers about the same is my car going to stay the same ride height? Or is the ride height going to drop another .7-.8"?

Would I order ep3 or dc5s springs?

I can't speak of the apsec but... IIRC the actual spring on the hfp suspension is the same length/height as the spring on the oem suspension. The main visible difference between the 2 was that the lower perch for the spring was welded lower on the HFP strut than it was on the OEM strut. The HFP strut was shorter than the oem one IIRC.

As far as the spring is concerned, I think it depends on what you want the drop to be and what spring rate you want. I'm almost certain that any spring on a hfp (and possibly aspec) strut/shock will sit ~1/2 to 3/4" lower than it would on an oem strut.

I hope someone else can confirm or contradict this

Thanks, so dc5 s type, correct ??? I got my A-Spec's from CurryAcura and they say they are for 2002-2006 Acura RSX S Type, but I see different springs for 05-06...so what year springs am I going to look for?

I have the HFP suspension and plan on getting Bilsteins replacements when the shocks go.

If the hfp springs are the same size as stock, then I hope the Bilstein replacements or shorter otherwise I'll be back at stock height.

The A-Spec settled a bit and I love the ride height and the handling, wouldn't change a thing now.
