I recently acquired the whole ITR Brembo setup minus rear shocks. I will be putting this on soon. Don't have ITR axles yet,

Nice find. Installing all of that will keep you out of trouble for a while.

Thanks, those rotors are a real pita to find. I have other things too that I never listed.

They are expensive, too, iirc. You still in the plum EP? Looked like a fun color.

I could've sworn that the guys over at www.fastbrakes.com sold or could source the OE brembo replacement rotors for the DC5-R?

The following is not meant to thread-jack; I only want to contribute more to the thread for the greater good of the topic:

I am about to purchase the complete spindle, brake, axles, etc. swap today from a local vendor in Orlando and was curious how dire is it to upgrade the brake master cylinder to the DC5-S/R 15/16" cylinder from the EP 7/8"?

Also, how important would it be to change the proportioning valve as well? Those two things would be the only things that I would be missing to complete my DC5-R suspension/brakes (minus struts).

Nice stuff, those rotors are a royal pain in the fucking ass to find, thats why I didnt do this swap.

No, fast brakes sells NOTHING for this brake setup.

you dont have to change the MC, but it will give yo more brake power in less stroke

the Prop valve is the same as an 05 accord I believe, something like that.

The setup is totally awesome, but it is no improvement over Type S stuff, I decided against it for that reason, and the impossibility of finding rotors, or rear bearings, those are the only two parts that are hard to find, everything else is standard, even the Brembo caliper seals can be had from local Brembo vendors.

How much did you pick up the parts for/are you picking up the parts for? from what a lot of people are asking price wise, its almost better to go with a real BBK setup, I mean $1500 for used JDM parts? Crazy.

Oh, and for axles, get the Driveshaft Shop level 0 DC5R axles, only $290, and they will hold far more power than the original USED axles.

I paid 650 for everything minus rear shocks. Front/rear calipers, rotors, arms, knuckles and front shocks. But I bought new front rotors direct from honda for 225.00. but they are OEM Honda Brembo rotors. the rear rotors I had resurfaced. I have a type-s MS and TLtype-S prop valve. The TLS uses Brembo calipers also.
I still have the the old front rotors, they can be cut but its hard to find people to cut them.

Thats awesome man, For what you have into it, thats a great deal. Did you buy the set off eBay a few months back? I almost went with that one myself!!

Are the rear knuckles the same as our stock ones?

What shocks are you using for the rears?

Hi guys,

The rear knuckles look similar, but since the only the ITR axles are 15mm wider I will have to say the rear arms are wider. The knuckles look to be the same to me. The hubs will be designed for that offset rotor.

I'm am going to run full A-Spec on my car. Just about same as ITR. I will sell the front shocks or hold them until I get a matching rear.
Yes I got these from Ebay in jersey.

I believe the nuckles are rear arms should be the same. If you lok at the rear bearing hub, it should be much more offset, I think that is where the rear 15mm comes from on each side, but I am not sure. Been trying to confirm some stuff about this setup for a while.

Question,

This A-Spec came out of ep3. So will I need to change bushings in rear shocks? I can't press anything :(. Also, should I use my camber kit and use stock bolts? Dose A-Spec need camber kit?

The a-spec can be installed without a camber kit.
