Thinking about running some moon hubcaps aka smoothies. Will this affect brake cooling/performance since its a full covered face vs. open design?

It can affect cooling but it probably won't matter unless you are doing any tracking. Then just pop them off. There is a guy on here that had them but haven't seen him in a while. Looked pretty cool. Are you doing it for aesthetics or aero efficiency?

Thanks for the input, its for aesthetics first and foremost...the added areo benefits is just a bonus. I heard that with these discs I can gain up to 2 mpg increase.

2 mpg sounds like a lot but maybe. Working the fenders to integrate with the wheels would make quite an improvement, probably more than 2 mpg. It's just like pulling weight; it all adds up.

Yeah, if all is taken into consideration I can see these discs making a significant improvement.

Still debating on ordering them, if I do they will go on my daily.
