need help fitment pml and hks exhaust

I have an ep3 with an a3. Just got the plm racing headers, I already have hks exhaust. My problem is fitment between header and exhaust, different shaped ends. The header brings an extension for rsx which does match the connection for the exhaust (2 bolts instead of the 3 triangular shaped one) but If I'm not reading wrong it's supposed to fit my ep3's exhaust without the extension.
Help !!! or do I need to do custom work( 2.5 pipe and aftermarmet resonator welded to the hks tip?)

RSX? I thought it was rsx-s to ep3 that works, not rsx to ep3.

after reading some forums, I think that YES with the type s midpipe it would fit with the ep3 axleback. I know 05-06 type s' mjdpipes are a bit bigger, would these work as well? or it has to be 02-04 s?
